The AHF Scout Group will do their activities during weekday evenings as part of their supplementary school programme. You can join Scouting at any stage of your life, from 4 years old and beyond. Many young people are introduced to Scouting by joining Squirrels – our youngest age group – and progress through Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers.
Scouts Structure
Uniform
The Scouts is a uniformed organisation. All AHF Scouts are required to wear their uniform in a presentable manner for colony/pack meetings, when arriving and departing from events and for parades. Scout Uniform consists of:
- Scout Jumper
- Group scarf or necker
- A woggle
- A Log book
The AHF Scout Group will have a distinctive necker and each member will be provided with one at their induction. If a member loses their necker, replacements are available but will be charged at the current rate at the time.
